Mary Cox

Mary Cox 1Clinical Services Director

The driving force behind the birth of Clinical Cardiology, Mary initially trained as a nurse at St. Helier Hospital in Surrey before moving to St. George's Hospital in London, specialising in cardiology and developing a passion for everything cardiac related.

After a short career break to start a family, Mary moved to ECG analysis where she quickly excelled before deciding the time was right to start her own business providing high quality ECG analysis with a vitally important fast turn-around time, allowing her caring instincts to be applied in a clinical setting.

In her spare time Mary enjoys many leisure activities including walking clubs, Pilates, swimming and caring for her grandchildren. She enjoys travelling, always exploring hidden treasures, and is constantly giving to others.

Mary's dedication to care is reflected in the ethos of Clinical Cardiology - always putting the patient first.

John Cox

John Cox 2Clinical Services Manager

John graduated with an honours degree in Natural Sciences, and trained to interpret ECG's under the senior cardiologist at The Hammersmith Hospital in London. Providing accurate analysis, customer service and more with the energy of youth, John has been able to identify many difficult arrhythmias with remarkable regularity, allowing life-saving treatment to be provided within the clinical setting.

In his spare time, John enjoys playing football as well as struggling to play guitar. John also doubles up as a bed for the company dog, Patch. Cooking is a real passion, and travelling the world has allowed him to expand his culinary horizons. John loves to learn. He is frequently found buried in a book (outside office hours!) and has a particular passion to enhance knowledge in cardiac disorders, implications and treatments. He is involved in charities linked to the heart, and avidly follows current research.

As our newest member, John guarantees the philosophy, professionalism and accuracy of Clinical Cardiology will continue well into the future.
